play'n catch up

Its been a crazy few weeks. 

Heres a little game of catch up.

had his first knee surgey...two more to go and he will tie me. ;)

had family dinner with SARAH, BRANT and WILL

we just gotta get through finals, then comes what we all have been waiting for...

CHRISTMAS!! 

Turkey Day

Soooo today is ONE MONTH 'TILL CHRISTMAS!!!

oh and Thanksgiving too...

this year me and my lil sis SARAH wanted to help

she was STOKED! 

 we made a pumpkin pie 

 yuumm

started the pie crust for our pecan pie

 DJ MOM aka Faloy putting the crust on... 

 it was harder than it looks 

 we also made our TRADITIONAL ROLLS 

 dad was being a goober 

 our pecan pie turned out great!

It was a successful Thanksgiving full of cooking, football, family and a dear best friend. 

I am thankful more than ever for my family and close friends.  Love you guys. 

It was a great blessing for NO CHEMO TODAY!! 

I got to be home with my family, and NOT be a drugged out sleeping zombie. 

Count your blessings. Give thanks.

OOOHHH We're Half Way There!

So today was chemo numero 6. 

HALF WAY DONE! 

It was a typical day at chemo. 

my two best friends Will and Brant came as usual...

thanks guys. they are the best of the best.  <3 

sit with me for 4 hours.  love you boys. 

Momma of course was there.  My Aunt Sandy also stopped by. 

Daddy came and is a fantastic multitasker ;) 

my nurse from my very first chemo, Chris was my nurse for the day 

she's one of my favs for sure  

We drove home blaring LIVING ON A PRAYER by Bon Jovi.  It was very fitting for the day.

This was waiting for my on my kitchen table when I got home.  

I Love you and thank you Sarah. best roomie ever. 

Cookies, flowers and a love note.  She knows me so well.

Momma also sent me home with some of her home made GUMBO!

Halloweenie

Halloween was a while ago...

buuuut I have not had much time to post.

so here is a quick giggle at what went down. 

I ventured off to NEVERLAND with Peter Pan, Mr. Schmee, Tinkerbell and the Lost Boys...

among other costumes and super last minute get-ups 

I wore my wig for the first time...yes with a costume

and went as a 70's girl I guess.

and this little gem was taken Friday night at a school event...with my 70's twinsie SKYE! 

we all had a pretty fun/ridiculous night full of dancing and laughter.  

I can't complain.  I have the greatest group of friends.
